Heipat Uhkametsältä!
Ilman sen kummempia kaunisteluja, Uhkametsän taru ainakin podcastin formaatissa on ohitse. Kuuntele lyhyt jakso, jossa kerromme lisää tästä päätöksestä. Kiitos kaikille kuulijoille Uhkametsän noin kahden vuoden taipaleen ajalta.
Tulemme jatkossakin tekemään sisältöä, mutta enemmän Youtuben puolelle. Tämän päätöksen syitä avaamme myös jaksossa. Linkki Youtubeen: https://www.youtube.com/@ThreatForest

Welcome to the Uhtametsä podcast.
There are several reasons for this and we can go through them right from the start. The first reason is that during the year 2024, our volume has dropped by 30-40%. When we first interpreted the data we thought it could be the coming summer, but the truth is that the fall has started right at the beginning of the year. So clearly the audience is not so much more than just listening to this, and it's a pity that we have also received good feedback, especially recently, saatu varsinkin viime aikoina sitten, että on ollut kiva meitä kuunnella, mutta siinä on sitten oma tuskansa kuitenkin, ja aikaa vietää aika paljon.
Speaker 1:Ja jos kuitenkin totuus on se että kuulija kunta on vain katoavaista, niin se motivaatiota sitten jossain määrin paljon syö, mutta ei se ainut syö. Ehkä annan Juuson kohta kertoa lisää, mutta alustan tässä että on ollut hieman, but that's not the only thing. I'll let Juuso tell more soon, but I'll start here. It's been a bit of a challenge to motivate myself to do this podcast of the forest. I'll say it straight away that maybe the motivation problem has been on Juuso's side, so I can give you a chance to open up on that side. Yeah, there's nothing dramatic about it.
Speaker 2:It's all time. I've just started to feel that this hasn't been fun anymore. It's probably been heard in the last episodes. I don't want it to be half-baked because of motivation. I'm half-hearted, which I would like to be. I'm a person who wants to make as accurate and good a result as possible. I also try to do this when I feel that I'm not really interested and motivated anymore. Then it would come to light. So I don't want to prolong it, because it's not nice for anyone pitkittää, koska se ei sitten kenelläkään kivaa Sitten. Tosiaan, kun Jouni tuossa mainitsikin, niin onhan tämä sinänsä myös hyvin aikaa vievää ja muuta.
Speaker 1:Tässä on omat haasteensa. Kyllä just näin Aikaa ottaa, mutta harmillista tai ikävää toki heille jotka on uhkametsää jaksanut kuunnella. But it's sad, or sad for those who have been able to listen to the forest, but there are clearly signs that time has driven past the forest of danger in recent times. But personally I don't want to end the content. I will not stop the content making. We have already established a YouTube channel called Threat Forest, where there will be content. I will not go into details about how much and how often, but the first videos will probably be made by me. I guess it will be very close time doing this. I think that this will be my first time doing this. I think that this will be my first time doing this. I think that this will be my first time doing this. I think that this will be my first time doing this. I think that this will be my first time doing this. I think that this will be my first time doing this. I think that this will be my first time doing this. I think that this will be my first sort of episode format. We will be doing some sort of episode format. We will be doing some sort of episode format. We will be doing some sort of episode format. We will be doing some sort of episode format. We will be doing some sort of episode format. We will be doing some sort of episode format. We will be doing some sort of episode format. We will be doing some sort of episode format. We will be doing some them in video format.
Speaker 1:As the name suggests Threat Forest. The content will be partly in English and partly in Finnish. The main language will be in English, so welcome to listen to our rally English. But we don't want to completely remove the possibility of speaking completely domestic, because the content is more complex in our native language and easier to execute. If we are interested in doing something, the language is always a little bit according to the content that we will then produce. But also, quite frankly, it is the truth that the potential audience is then considerably much larger if we try to make English, and it's not like anyone wants to listen to our music because we're in the English rally and in the YouTube process, the angle that you just mentioned.
Speaker 2:it doesn't limit us so much. We can try everything. At least I've tried. We have experienced that we have certain frameworks in the sound release which are good to do and have been doing for a long time. It's good that we can pick up quite freely on everything. It's also interesting and also fresh and exciting for us to try a little bit of everything.
Speaker 1:It's also nice for us to try a little bit of everything, yes, and of course it makes it easier to do this because you don't have to think about all the schedules and others because we don't really come to promise any kind of release schedule.
Speaker 1:For example, we are definitely trying to release content once a month so that it would remain relevant to some extent, but if this doesn't happen, then neither will our world. The world would end there. Let's see if there is enough interest in it for people to watch it and listen to it. Probably some of the publications are as well listened to as they are watched, especially if you do some interviews and stuff. You can definitely listen to the release on the phone or in the car. Let's see what we can come up with here. That's it Sad journey from this podcast. In practice, our journey was at first very fast due to the fact that it happened that. What was this podcast?
Speaker 1:Now I have to say it again it happened that the security guard stopped at the same time as we started and a shoutout came to us from the last episode of the security guards. Then we got about 15,000 listens to our first episodes, which we already knew when it came. That it would not keep up will remain a limited scope, but after that we said the number of listeners has dropped very sharply in recent years 30 000 to 140 000 times at the moment when I went to look at the statistics. So there is probably, at least hopefully, someone who has enjoyed our talk that much and, unfortunately, the actual content amount that I would have wanted to get out of this. I could only count the episodes' length and I couldn't count them, but we have done 51 episodes. This is not counted as the last one. The length changes are about 40 minutes to 2 hours and 15 minutes.
Speaker 2:It's probably about 60 hours or a little over 60 hours is probably the content amount that was put out during these two years content amount that was put out during these two years, and 51 episodes were made during these two years, or 11 months approximately now, because not much is to be lied about. I can also remember this podcast journey as an irrelevant matter. If we remember the beginning of our podcast, when we started planning this, this was in 2022 in Heinä in August. When Ji sent a message asking if I should start doing podcast work, I was actually in the store then. That's when I got excited. The next day was the first episode outside. This is, for me at least, this almost two-year journey. I have good memories from this. It has been nice to do this with Jouni. I have learned a lot from this.
Speaker 2:For example, we have had quite good audio technicians. At the beginning we did a lot of handwork for the episodes and other things. It was very instructive and useful for me in my music hobby. It has been very nice.
Speaker 1:Yes, it hasn't been that long. At the beginning it was very artisanal work.
Speaker 2:These are the edits cutting and gluing.
Speaker 1:But after that, when there weren't so many so-called funny errors, it was able to do a lot because we had the Buzzsprout feature that improves the sounds from the end to the beginning. It's mostly about mastering and we've fixed some minor mistakes, but very minimal. I'd say that one episode has been less than ten minutes, at least for the last year. A bit boring, but that's about it. It's been nice to do this job and I've forced myself to follow the threat field as well, what I'm doing now.
Speaker 1:But I've had to think about certain things a little longer in the podcast and I've probably learned a certain amount from it. At least, in learned a lot from it and I have learned a lot from it, and I have learned a lot from it and I have learned a lot from it and I have learned a lot from it, and I have learned a lot from it and I have learned a lot from it, for example, real threats or not. But it has been really nice. Thank you to everyone who has 30 140 times uploaded this podcast, although there are probably our numeral downloads and that 140, but let's not count them. Is there anything else? Any final comments for this episode?
Speaker 2:Well, I want to thank all of our listeners here, those who have been with us from the first episode to the last episodes, who have even started listening now. Thank you all. We have appreciated it so much that someone has come to listen Now. In fact, other pictures are coming up after this sound release. We will see how it goes and what kind of content will come in.
Speaker 1:I am optimistic about this in this regard Good, I don't think it's any less than that, of course. What I have to say is that the content stays for as long as it interests someone, but let's see when the load will start to be so small that the threat forest episodes will be thrown away from the internet feed, or at least from the current service that he doesn't stay in some kind of an archive. But surely now we will look at new pictures, and not just this, but a very good summer for all listeners, and we will return to the topic.
Speaker 1:Thank you all, bye.
